Changes to Fees for lodging documents on the Energy Performance Certificate Registers
We’ve received the notice below from DCLG advising of price changes In Northern Ireland: Changes to Fees for lodging documents on the Energy Performance Certificate Registers
The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 (as amended), requires energy performance certificates and recommendation reports; display energy certificates and advisory reports; and air-conditioning inspection reports to be lodged on registers maintained by a Register Keeper.
Northern Ireland, England and Wales have a joint contract with the Register Keeper and have applied the same fee for lodging documents on the Registers.
A review of lodgement fees has concluded that, due to a change in the actual and projected level of lodgements of energy certificates onto the Registers, lodgement fees should be amended accordingly.
Therefore, the fees in Northern Ireland, in line with England and Wales, for lodging documents on the Registers have been amended from £1.30 to £1.27 for a domestic lodgement and the fees for lodgement of nondomestic EPCs, Display Energy Certificates and Air Conditioning Reports have been amended from £9.73 to £11.66.
The revised fees came into effect on 6 April 2015.
