Elmhurst’s APEL DEC Assessor course offers a fast track training route for those with experience of working in the non-domestic, who want to gain expert knowledge in the production of Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports for public buildings.
The online version of this course gives learners the flexibility to complete training from home or the office and save money on commuting and accommodation costs. During the course you will build on your existing knowledge of non-domestic buildings and build in additional layers of knowledge and competence. This includes learning how to use approved Operational Rating (OR) software to produce Display Energy Certificates (DECs) for public buildings.

Course Breakdown
If professionals meet the APEL requirements, this one day DEC APEL course provides individuals with all the information needed to meet the APEL standards to become a DEC Assessor. Training is followed by an assessment of three DEC calculations.
