The shift to whole-house retrofit is at the heart of the UK’s net-zero housing agenda. As a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), you can take your career further by becoming a Retrofit Assessor – a role in high demand as PAS 2035 projects grow. 2. Heat Loss Assessor

As low-carbon heating systems, such as heat pumps, become more widespread, accurately understanding the heat loss of a building is increasingly critical. Our on Demand, Heat Loss Assessor course (10 hours CPD) is part of the Great Green Upskill offering and is currently 40% off for members.

3. Older & Traditional Buildings

Following the latest update to PAS 2035, all professionals working on retrofit projects involving pre-1919 properties or traditional construction (such as solid brick or stone) must now hold a Level 3 qualification in Older and Traditional Buildings, in addition to their Retrofit Assessor or Retrofit Coordinator accreditation.
