Course Overview
Elmhurst’s intensive ABBE qualification course is designed to equip Non-Domestic and Air Conditioning professionals with the skills and knowledge to become fully qualified Air Conditioning Inspectors in just 6 days.
The course covers all key aspects of the Air Conditioning Inspection Report process, providing learners with an industry-recognised qualification that allows them to undertake Air Conditioning Energy Assessments on systems with an output greater than 12kw.
Course Delivery
Elmhurst’s experienced team of trainers and technical support staff will guide learners through the training and assessment process, ensuring a thorough understanding of the course content. Upon completion of the training, learners will be able to produce the DLUHC Recommendations Report and Certificate that can be lodged onto the Government’s website.
This comprehensive 6-day course, is held over 2 weeks and includes 3 learning days in each week. This split ensures that the majority of learners will be fully qualified without the need for additional training/work after the course.
Eligibility
This course is suitable for Non-Domestic Energy professionals.
This Level 3/4 course is designed for those who will be assessing complex air conditioning systems, including multiple cooler installations, air handling equipment, air and water-cooled chillers, as well as the simple, and multi-split packaged equipment and systems.
Please Note: Our software is NOT compatible with a MAC computer. You must use a PC or Laptop.

- Review on what has been achieved.
- Review the work undertaken over the two weeks to see what is outstanding.
Following successful completion of this course you will be awarded with the ABBE Level 4 Diploma in Air Conditioning Energy Assessment, and will be eligible to join Elmhurst’s Air Conditioning Inspection accreditation scheme.
Once qualified as an Air Conditioning Inspector you must join a government approved scheme to submit Air Conditioning Inspection Reports for non-domestic buildings. You can find out more about Elmhurst’s Air Conditioning Inspection Accreditation Scheme here.
