Domestic Energy Assessor Training

A Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) is an accredited individual who undertakes energy assessments of existing dwellings and produces Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Elmhurst’s City and Guilds accredited Domestic Energy Assessor Training is a fantastic introduction into the world of energy assessment; providing individuals with the skills and knowledge to produce energy calculations, using reduced data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) methodology- which is a lot easier than it sounds!

Essentially EPCs are required for all existing residential dwellings in the UK before they are sold or let, which is why Domestic Energy Assessors are needed to produce those important energy calculations for these properties.

Elmhurst's DEA Training provides information at a pace that suits our trainees, to ensure they understand the content and are able to gradually build up their skills and knowledge. Our training takes individuals from classroom learning to undertaking practical energy assessments in a matter of days!
