Government consultation is a missed opportunity

Elmhurst Energy launches Approved Certifier of Design scheme

Elmhurst Energy has launched its Approved Certifier of Design (Section 6-Domestic) accreditation scheme, which is fully approved by the Building Standards Division of the Scottish Government.  With the launch of this new scheme members can now lodge new-build Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and also create Certificates of Design under one scheme. There's a New leader in Non-Domestic

Elmhurst Energy, is pleased to announce its latest appointment in the organisation, with Josh Wakeling now appointed as the permanent team leader for the Non-Domestic support team.  Prior to joining Elmhurst Energy, Josh started working life as a Chef after leaving school, and still maintains an interest in cooking to this day (that and piloting helicopters). MPs want all homes to be EPC band C

Yesterday (6th February), in the House of Commons, Sir David Amess (Conservative MP for Southend West) used a "ten minute rule motion" to propose that all domestic properties should be required to achieve a minimum of EPC Band C by 2030, for those occupiers in fuel poverty, and 2035 for all other domestic properties.  This proposed strategy is smiliar to one outlined for Private Rental Sector / Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), but would apply

One of Elmhurst's fantastic trainers, Andy Knapp, is taking part in this years London Marathon (22nd April), in memory of his father, and all for a great cause.
