Proposed changes to PAS 2035 would collapse Retrofit

Proposed amendments to PAS 2035 and PAS 2030 were released for public comment by the British Standards Institution (BSI) back in early August.  Elmhurst has been busy analysing these amendments and has identified an issue that could cause the retrofit supply chain to collapse. Currently Retrofit Assessors are competent in all aspects of the requirement for the role as defined in PAS 2035; they therefore collect on site information in relationship to the energy assessment

ECO 4 draft response - member feedback requested

As reported to members on the day of its issue, BEIS has published the consultation documents for the ECO4 scheme. The scheme will run from April 2022 until March 2026 at an average value of £1 billion per year. BSI releases consultation for PAS 2030 and PAS 2035

Scottish Government consults on new energy standards

The Scottish Government has released a consultation on proposed changes to energy standards within Scottish building regulations.
