Course Options

Elmhurst's APEL Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) course offers a fast track training route for those with experience of working in the non-domestic, who want to gain expert knowledge in the production of SBEM Calculations and EPCs for new and existing (Level 3  and 4) commercial buildings.

Training delegates can choose to undertake this course either in the classroom or online depending on their preference. Regardless of which training route is selected, the course will provide training delegates with all the information required for them to meet the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) standards and become a fully fledged NDEA. Course completion

Upon completion of this course and exams, training delegates must find 1 x existing level 3 and 1 x existing level 4 building to assess in order to complete their portfolio. Elmhurst offers a seperate SBEM Level 4 Practical Day which delegates can use towards their portfolio. Once all of the above crtieria has been completed you will have met the standards of the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for Non-Domestic Energy Assessment.
