Are you a qualified or part qualified Retrofit Coordinator?
Are you a Retrofit Assessor wanting to be trained as a Retrofit Coordinator (Level 5 diploma)?

Due to our ongoing success we are looking to increase the size of our Retrofit team based at our offices in Lutterworth. Energy Assessment, in particular Retrofit, is a growth industry and Elmhurst Energy are the market leaders in that industry. Government initiatives, PAS 2035, and developments around energy efficiency and building sustainability mean that we continue to grow our team to deliver excellence to our members, both now and in the future.

We are flexible when looking for candidates. You may already be a qualified Retrofit Coordinator looking for a full or part time position. You may be a Retrofit Assessor looking for funded training to become a Coordinator learning on the job. New team members are welcome to continue working as practicing assessors, in their own time, while working for Elmhurst; in fact what better way to understand the role when providing support to our members?

What type of things can I expect to do in the role?

Our Technical Consultants deliver the highest level of professional and quality support to our members through experience and knowledge of the energy assessment industry.

If you are not already a qualified Coordinator, one of the first things will be to get you fully trained as an accredited Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator.

The main part of your role will be to proactively offer high level and consistent front line support to our members through the provision of excellent technical support which includes telephone, written, and face to face communications, to ensure that Elmhurst’s products and services are understood by stakeholders. There will also be opportunities to get involved with other projects and help with auditing, training and events.

What experience will I need to be successful in this role?

  • You must have a ‘Can-Do’ attitude, and be willing to go the extra mile to provide a positive customer experience
  • You will be a trained Retrofit Assessor, or may already be a qualified/part qualified Coordinator
  • You will have experience working as an Energy Assessor, or a background of working in the energy assessment industry
  • You may have experience of carrying out audits or delivering industry related training, but not essential

Why would I want to join the Elmhurst team?

You will be working with a fantastic team in an environment where culture and employee engagement is an important part of who we are. In addition to job security in a growing industry, benefits we offer include:

  • 25 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Flexi holiday programme with ability to increase holidays to 30 days
  • Full company/occupational sick pay
  • Death in service of 3 x salary
  • Employee welfare cash plan teamed with wellbeing support through an Employee Assistance Programme
  • ‘Perks at Work’ membership for savings and discounts
  • Free private medical cover after 2 years’ service
  • Elmhurst product & services discounts

If you are interested in a career as a part of our Retrofit team please forward your CV to hr@elmhurstenergy.co.uk .

Closing date for applications is Thursday 13th January

Successful applicants will be invited to take part in a short telephone discussion with our Retrofit Team Leader, Simon Flint. We will then invite a small number of applicants to a face to face interview with Simon and Josh, our Head of Operations. If restrictions prevent face to face interviews we will hold interviews by Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

We look forward to hearing from you!
