Awarding Excellence and Commitment
At Elmhurst, we are dedicated to celebrating excellence and commitment among our team members. To that end, we offer various awards to recognise their contributions, including our service awards that honour longevity with the company. Additionally, we have a special Kudos award that acknowledges individuals who have gone above and beyond in their duties, done exceptional work, or made a significant impact. We encourage our colleagues to recognise each other through the Kudos program, which promotes a culture of appreciation and recognition for outstanding efforts.
Advocates for Fun
Elmhurst has its very own Social Committee, a select group of employees who are passionate about creating a positive and fun working environment for everyone at Elmhurst. They are responsible for planning and organising various social events throughout the year, from parties to team-building activities.
The committee is always coming up with new and exciting ideas to engage employees and encourage them to interact with one another. Whether it’s a game night, Elmhurst bake off, cocktail making, or Christmas party the Social Committee always finds a way to bring people together and create a sense of community.
At Elmhurst, we strongly believe in the power of giving back to the community. Our employees embody our ‘in it together’ mentality and are always enthusiastic about participating in charity fundraising and community initiatives.
As part of our commitment to making a positive impact, we select a new charity each year to support through fundraising events. This year, we are proud to support Mind, a mental health charity that provides vital resources and support to those in need.
Some of our recent charity days includes volunteering at the local food bank for the Trussell Trust, as well as a conservation day with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) to rebuild a path through the woods, enabling less abled visitors to enjoy Charnwood Forest.
