All you need to know about On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Training
What Exactly Is On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor Training?
OCDEA is there to give you the appropriate tools and education necessary to produce accurate energy assessments for new properties.
Today, every newly built domestic dwelling in the UK requires an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before being sold or let. Because of this, this specific training can be extremely beneficial!
How Can I Receive OCDEA Training?
Here at Elmhurst Energy, we offer two different ways to receive this training.
ABBE Qualification Route:
This four-day OCDEA training course for new entrants leads to an ABBE (Awarding Body for the Built Environment) qualification. This is ideal for complete newbies or someone who has not worked in this area for a few years.
OCDEA Training as an Experienced Practitioner (APEL) Route:
This is our two-day training option. Candidates for the APEL Route must have experience working in areas of design, construction and/or energy assessment for at least two of the last five years.
At the moment, we are offering the ABBE and OCDEA training online. This allows students to reap all of the benefits our face to face classes would have from the comfort of their own homes.
Our technology is always advancing and adapting to ensure the highest quality courses with the changing times.
