Our Business Analyst (BA) role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how a business works and turning that insight into clear, deliverable solutions. You’ll play a key part in gathering and analysing business requirements, shaping projects from initial idea through to delivery, and helping teams across Elmhurst achieve successful outcomes.
At Elmhurst Energy, software is at the heart of what we do. Our IT applications are central to our position as industry leaders in building energy rating, and this role will help ensure our products remain high quality, user-focused and aligned with business and regulatory needs. As a BA, you will act as the business advocate within product development, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure projects are well-defined, well-managed and delivered on time.
What can I expect to do in the role?
In this role, you’ll spend most of your time working with stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into clear, structured requirements for our software and processes.
You’ll support the planning and coordination of projects, helping to manage timelines and expectations so that work stays on track. Alongside this, you’ll analyse how our current systems and processes are performing, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to decisions about the design and enhancement of our digital products.
You’ll also help monitor key performance measures and ensure that any issues or complaints are understood, tracked and addressed in a timely, professional way.

✅ Excellent communication skills, enabling strong relationships across IT and the wider organisation
✅ High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information
✅ Strong organisational and time-management skills
✅ The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
