About the Role

Retrofit is a rapidly growing industry, and Elmhurst is at the forefront of this sector. With increasing government initiatives, the implementation of PAS 2035, and a national focus on energy efficiency and building sustainability, we are committed to growing our team to meet demand and maintain our position as market leaders.

In this role, you will be a key part of our Retrofit Support team, providing high-quality frontline technical support to our members and trainees. This will primarily involve handling queries via telephone and email, ensuring that every interaction delivers expert guidance. Alongside this, you will contribute to auditing processes, the creation of technical bulletins, and have the potential to design and deliver CPD opportunities.

Together, these responsibilities will enable you to play a vital role in supporting professionals across the retrofit industry and helping them navigate the evolving technical and regulatory landscape.

About You

✅ Domestic Energy Assessor Level 3 Qualification, as well as competency in Retrofit Assessor
✅ The ability to provide high levels of customer service in a busy environment.
✅ Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform technical calculations.
✅ Excellent communication skills, both verbally, and in writing.
✅ The ability to maintain positive working relationships in a team environment.
✅ Comfort working in an environment where IT is an important tool for the business.

While not essential, the following would be advantageous:

✅ Experience in the built environment industry and a keen interest in receiving full accredited training in Energy Assessment as a future career.
✅ A background in providing telephone and customer support in another industry.
✅ An interest in renewable energies and/or sustainable buildings.
