What will I be doing?

The role of the Technical Consultant is to provide energy related services such as new build compliance, energy performance certificates for new build properties, energy saving opportunities and energy saving recommendations. 

Delivering the highest level of professional and quality support to our customers through experience, skills and knowledge of the energy assessment industry. Technical Consultants play a key role in promoting the Elmhurst brand, to meet our Vision to be the leading independent provider of building energy rating expertise.  

 

Typical duties   

  • Delivering a variety of work packages necessary to meet the group’s commercial, technical and operational needs
  • Provision of Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) and Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) assessments (training will be provided if required)
  • Provision of Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)assessments (training will be provided if required)
  • Helping the team to maintain and improve upon customer service levels.
  • Involvement in the new build, commercial construction sector. This could be in a sustainable/environmental consultancy/building assessment/certification consultancy or an associated construction sector position.
  • Ability to travel to a range of appointments around the UK using your own transport.
  • To proactively offer a high level and consistent support to our customers through the provision of excellent technical support, including telephone, written, and face to face communications
