ECO3 and PAS 2035
The TrustMark quality scheme and the updated PAS standards (PAS 2035:2019 and PAS 2030:2019) have been intoduced into ECO3. But what does this all mean?
An amendment to existing ECO policy came into effect on 1st January 2020, with a new requirement for ECO measures to be installed by, or under the responsibility of, a person who is registered with TrustMark, and for the work to be lodged into the TrustMark Data Warehouse.
What does this mean for ECO Installers?
Installers delivering these ECO funded energy efficiency measures must be certified to PAS 2030:2019 and must be registered with a TrustMark scheme provider. Installers will need to work alongside new retrofit professionals (who are also TrustMark registered) in order to install their energy efficiency measures.
Retrofit Coordinators required
TrustMark Approved Retrofit Coordinators will need to oversee the delivery of all ECO funded retrofit projects whilst adhering to the technical standards outlined within PAS 2035:2019. In addition to this they will also be responsible for lodging the retrofit improvement plans into the TrustMark Data Warehouse.
