Carbon Profile is a consultancy that specialises in the built environment and offers a wide range of services, delivering technical advice and support to satisfy the demanding requirements of the managers engaged in running today's commercial and public sector buildings. They have an exciting new opportunity for an Energy Assessor to join their team.
You will be familiar with building services plant equipment and/or building fabric (typically office or retail). Experiences in undertaking site surveys and recommeding cost effective and pragmatic improvement measures. Able to work unsupervised out of the office at external properties in England and Wales. Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Undertaking EPC’s and DEC’s SBEM experience or equivalent Commercial & Residential building surveys encompassing fabric and /or building services Report Writing.
BEng / HND / BSc Background/Training (preferred): CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant (EPC and AC Inspector Accredited) DEC accreditation beneficial)) Understanding of building regs (Part L) Energy / Environmental background IT Knowledge (desirable): Use of NCM model: iSBEM / Hevacomp MS Word amp; Excel (Intermediate/Advanced) MS Project AutoCAD Typical Projects: Energy Performance Certification and ACI’s for groups of commercial properties, UK wide. Other works will include implementation of energy performance, improvement reporting, energy strategies etc.
