Elmhurst Energy, working in partnership with APIP (Association of Professional Inventory Providers), has launched an Inventory training course to expand the service offering of domestic energy assessors to include inventory services for residential rented properties.
What are Property Inventory Services?
Property Inventory services are highly sought after by Landlords and Letting Agents who require a third party to provide a detailed inventory report at the start and end of a tenancy.
This report looks at the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy including detailing areas of damage, and the contents of the property. Comparisons are also made between the check-in and the check-out (when a tenancy ends), to see if there has been any changes to the propertys' condition. The report protects both the landlords and letting agents when managing deposits.
