Non Domestic Energy Assessor Training

A Non Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) is a certified individual who undertakes energy calculations, using approved Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) or Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) software on commercial buildings. The calculations produce a commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). All commercial buildings in the UK require an EPC before marketed sale or let and on construction.

Our NDEA training options include the Level 3 and Level 4 qualification.

The level 3 qualification allows assessors to complete EPCs on all existing commercial buildings with frequently occurring characteristics- this covers a large proportion of the non domestic market. The level 4 qualification allows assessors to produce EPCs on existing commercial buildings without frequently occurring characteristics and also commercial new build compliance EPCs.
