Domestic Green Deal Advisor Training

Why train to become a Domestic Green Deal Advisor?

The Green Deal is a Government scheme designed to help people make energy-saving improvements to their home and find the best way to pay for them. A domestic Green Deal Advisor (GDA) is qualified to undertake energy calculations on existing dwellings and produce a Green Deal Advice Report (GDAR), giving advice on what those improvements might be. The GDA uses appropriate Green Deal software to complete the assessment. There is no mandatory requirement for existing dwellings to have a GDAR. Instead a GDA can only produce a GDAR if they are affiliated with a certified Green Deal Advice Organisation.

As a prerequisite, individuals must be qualified as domestic energy assessors (DEA) before qualifying as a GDA.
