Green Homes Cashback scheme - phase 3 closure
Phase 3 of the Scottish Government’s Green Homes Cashback scheme closed on 13 August because funding has been fully allocated.
The Energy Saving Trust is now operating a waiting list for any customers who are still interested in registering their details to be issued with a voucher should further funding become available. Funding may become available as unclaimed vouchers begin to expire but we cannot guarantee that any further funding will become available or that we will be able to issue any more vouchers.
If customers have had a Green Deal Advice Report (completed but have not made an application to the scheme, EST cannot offer funding towards this unless they apply to the waiting list and are issued a voucher and claim for at least one eligible measure.
Customers must still have had a GDAR to apply to the waiting list, and any applications found to have provided incorrect details will not be considered for a voucher if more funding becomes available.
As a reminder, for an applicant to be eligible for a voucher they must not have started work on their installation before being issued a voucher, even if they are on the waiting list. Customers who have already been issued a voucher under phase 3 of the scheme must complete their work and claim their funding before the voucher expiry date.
The FAQ section on the EST website has been updated to cover some common queries we expect to receive. Please note this closure does not affect the social housing provider stream of the Green Homes Cashback scheme, which is currently open for bids and closes on Thursday 28th August at 5pm.
