England & Wales Domestic Green Deal Advice Reports Are Live!

Green Deal Advisors (GDAs) working for certified Green Deal Advice Organisations (GDAOs) or certified as sole traders are now able to create domestic Green Deal Advice Reports and lodge them on the live EPC Register for England & Wales.

Domestic Green Deal Reports can currently only be created and lodged using BRE’s GDSAP tool, however by spring 2013 it is anticipated the GDSAP tool will be withdrawn. By this time Elmhurst will have launched its own professional and intuitive Green Deal software, which will be made available to Elmhurst GDAs. Further announcements regarding Elmhurst’s software release will be available shortly.

The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has also announced that Landmark will not charge lodgement fees for domestic and non-domestic GD assessments until Spring 2014, although normal EPC lodgement charges will still apply.

The Scottish Government are to make their own announcement regarding live GD assessments for Scottish properties early in the New Year, for domestic assessments this is scheduled for 7th January 2013.
