Producing live EPCs/Energy Reports
Following Training you will want to be able to use the online RdSAP software to produce the EPC/Energy Reports inside the Home Report. The simple way for this to work is to be invoiced on a ‘per report’ basis and it will cost £2.50 plus VAT per EPC/Energy Reports produced.
This cost includes:
• Online RdSAP software
• All future updates
• Free software for handheld PDAs (if required)
• Access to Elmhurst technical support for all software and surveying queries
In our experience, technical surveying support is vital to surveyors using RdSAP for energy assessments. As you may recall if you have previously used our Streamline system, similar support has always been essential due to the myriad combinations of heating/hot water systems and constructional issues found in domestic properties and remains at the heart of the Elmhurst service.
Finally by agreeing to use our RdSAP software for Live EPCs/energy reports the surveyor agrees to the terms and conditions associated with its use. These are noted on the Application Form.
Please Note.
· It is assumed that Chartered Surveyors in Scotland will complete Home Reports, including the EPC element under the RICS Protocol and as such it is the responsibility of the RICS to conduct any monitoring, PI checks and other formalities in line with their Protocol. The Elmhurst unit price per EPC/Energy Report therefore does not include an allowance for monitoring of such matters by Elmhurst.
· This training in conjunction with the RICS Protocol also allows RICS members to provide EPCs/Energy reports in both the private and public sector rental housing markets.
· This route unfortunately does not cover RICS members to produce EPCs in England and Wales or Northern Ireland. However we do have routes available for this, please contact our training department for further details: training@elmhurstenergy.co.uk or 01455 883 252
