Accreditation Scheme for Domestic Energy Assessors
All EPCs will be produced by accredited (licensed) Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) or Home Inspectors. Elmhurst Energy has been approved to run an accreditation scheme as of the 19th of April 2007.
Main features of the scheme:
- Low cost set up fees
- Simple pricing- the price per EPC production covers;
o Use of the Elmhurst’s web based RDSAP software
o Monitoring
o Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
o Telephone support
To apply please print out the Application form, fully complete attaching all required documentation and send it to us. You will need to have obtained a Disclosure Certificate (CRB check) which is available from Disclosure Scotland (link below).
A Basic Disclosure is the minimum requirement, but a valid (less than 3 months from the issue date) Standard or Enhanced disclosure can be submitted. Costs related to Disclosure must be paid by any prospective applicant direct to the Disclosure Certificate supplier (Disclosure Scotland).
